Ruben is extremely skilled, professional and practical driving instructor. I took lessons from him, after disappointed by terrible driving school experience. He is very patient and teaches important driving skills including parallel parking, technical aspects of driving with finesse. While I have successfully got my license, I plan to take some lessons for freeway driving. Highly recommended.

Ruben was the best teacher I ever had. He is very thorough and will really evaluate what is your weakness as a driver. He taught me the basic foundation of driving. He will also teach techniques in driving so it will be easier to remember as a first time driver. Plus, he is very soft spoken so it helps you to be calm while driving. For me, I will definitely recommend him as a driver instructor for you will never have regrets. It is also another plus that he is very affordable in terms of his rate. Thank you Ruben. I was skeptical about getting driving lessons but Ruben is a great driving instructor. I started my lessons with no experience in driving, but he was so patient with me and focused on my weak points. In the time that I had my lessons with him, I learned so much and felt much more comfortable on the road than I had before. I started my lessons in January and by May, I was able to get my license! I definitely would recommend Ruben for those who want to learn to drive or those who just want to improve in some areas. He's patient, friendly, and will teach you how to drive safely.

Ruben is an excellent and experienced instructor. His car is well equipped with double brakes and pedals so that he can control the car when necessary during instruction. His teaching is thoughtful and methodical, but he also customizes his approach based on the situation. He explains different scenarios on the road clearly and effectively. I appreciated that he was really flexible with his schedule, accommodating morning, afternoon and evening hours, on weekday or weekends. He also offers taking students to the DMV for their tests, which I took up. It is possible to get your driver's license with Ruben without owning a car at all. All in all, Ruben is effective, professional, and a great pleasure to work with. I recommend him most highly.

Ruben is a great instructor! I had several driving lessons with him. He was very clear and is good at recognizing areas of improvement. Very easy to communicate with and he puts you at ease. Great driving routes as well! Driving felt way more comfortable and safe especially after these lessons for sure! He definitely prepares you for all things expected on the test as well as possible scenarios. All my questions were answered and I passed my driving test on the first try! Great teacher, even if I was a bit nervous after a while I got more confident and more secure. He is great teaching how to think five steps ahead and great for explaining how to drive defensively. I really recommend him for beginners because he take off the edge of the nerves.

Ruben is incredibly patient, organized, and respectful of his students. To add, he is generous with his time and never rushes the student due to the hourly lesson arrangement. His emphasis on good, defensive and gentle driving is also of note. (to prepare his student to drive safely and be kind to her/his passengers.) Also, there is no fuss -- we went on the highway the very first day!
