About

417-316-1443 I have worked with pitchers of all ages. From little leaguers just starting out and learning the fundamentals of the game, to collegiate pitchers who are wanting to dive deeper into the intricacies of the game: from mechanics to arm care to the mental approach when facing certain hitters or up against certain in-game situations.

What I appreciated most about Coach Mike was his ability to break down complex pitching techniques into simple steps that were easy to understand and apply. He also provided me with specific drills and exercises that helped me improve my strength, accuracy, and overall pitching skills.

    Frequently asked questions

Each pitcher is at a different stage in their baseball career. My goal is not to change a pitcher but to help him understand how to enhance his strengths and improve upon his weaknesses. "Feel" and "Confidence" are the most important aspects when it comes to pitching. Feeling the difference between a bad pitch and a great pitch comes down to mechanics and being able to repeat deliveries over and over again. Ability to repeat deliveries leads to greater confidence and greater success.

During the hour session we will:

         - Review the previous session's learnings

         - Discuss what's been working, what hasn't been working

         - Warm up (arm care routine)

         - Drills isolating specific mechanics for all pitches

         - If time permits, work off the mound in windup and stretch positions
