I started to teach piano students in High school and started to teach music theory lessons when I was in college. I have been teaching for 6 years in the US. Taught about 20 students between 5 to 40 years old. My goal in teaching is making students love and enjoy learning and practicing. Always respect the students opinions and taking care about students’ feelings. If students need me to be very strict, I can do my best to push you learn harder and harder and find the best fit piece for you. If students prefer learning just for fun, I prefer to give the students the pieces that they interested in. My preferred composers: Mendelssohn, Bach, Clementi, Mozart, Haydn, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Debussy, Bartok.
As a concert pianist, I held piano recitals in China in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Weihai, in Europe and in the US in San Francisco and NYC. Performed with orchestra in Europe and in the US.
