About
Private lessons are planned based on students' interests, goals, and experiences. Group lessons are in a small groups so I make sure all students get the care and attention needed from their teacher. I am highly respectful for all my students. I value my student's opinions, feedbacks, art interest. I am experienced in wide range of drawing and painting: pencil shading, realistic drawing, watercolor, acrylic painting, comic, anime, figure drawing, people, landscape, product design, interior, architecture, and more.
See students' progress and see they find passion in making art.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first-time student gets a free 15 min free initial introduction class. This is a great way to get to know each other and communicate what students are looking for and how I can help in achieving student's success. Also, get a feel of the teacher's teaching style. See if we are a match!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years of learning and training in the art, painting, and drawing field.
Graduated from CSULB with a degree in industrial design.
Studied design in Strate School of Design in Paris, France.
Professional experience as an industrial designer, graphic designer, and illustrator.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20-$50 depending on the student's age and length of class time.
How did you get started teaching?
I was my art teacher's assistant during high school. During my college career, I started as a part-time art teacher at an art summer camp, a Saturday school elective class, and as an art substitute teacher.
What types of students have you worked with?
Most of my students are age 5-15 years old.
I teach high school students as well as college design major students.
The youngest age I've taught is 3.5 years old and the oldest I've taught are adults 50-65 years old.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
See who you can have fun learning with and enjoy making art with. After all, it's hard to sustain long-term learning if it's not fun and interesting.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Nothing much. Just schedule to meet with me online and I'll lead you through the thinking process to find out if we are a good fit for each other. ;) I look forward to meeting you~
