About
My name is Jon Davis. I’m a former JV Boys High School Basketball coach of 8 years. I also have coached youth basketball for boys and girls from ages 5-14. I am a middle school teacher and have a lot of experience playing and teaching basketball.
I am qualified to teach all skill levels, including through college. I just signed up to give lessons because I thought it’d be a fun way to share my knowledge and earn a little extra money for my family.
My big focus is fundamentals, particularly footwork, ball handling and shooting. I have worked with point guards and post players. I have skills and footwork for all positions.
I have worked with boys and girls in our high school basketball program, as well as a youth basketball coach. I have two daughters myself.
I am looking to share my extensive knowledge and love of the game with others.

Assess knowledge and goals of individual players. Make a plan to help make them the best basketball player they can be.

I have been coaching basketball for over 10 years, 8 as a JV Boys High School Head Coach in Winters, CA. I am also a teacher and work with adolescents every day. I enjoy sharing my love and knowledge of the game with athletes from all skill levels.
