I have worked with students of all ages, levels, and abilities for the last 25 years to achieve their goals including students with developmental disabilities. I have studied Vaganova and Royal Academy of Danse techniques. I received a grade of commended on my elementary major examination and passed the intermediate examination and am knowledgeable and adept at the advanced curriculum. I am passionate about teaching correct placement and technique and sharing the joy of dance with my students.
I love it when a student finally overcomes a barrier either physical or mental that had prevented them from accomplishing a technique or move. The excitement or joy that they feel is so rewarding for me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I work with a new student I give a very basic technique class to assess placement to make sure that the student is working properly to avoid injury.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 27 years of experience dancing ballet and jazz. I have been a performer and instructor for a better part of those years. My greatest achievement was preparing for and passing the Royal Academy of Danse major examinations.
