What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Contact me by email or phone for an appoinment. Tuition is in 1 hour increments and takes place in my studio.
Learn the following:1.How to use YOUR camera. 2.Technical terms made simple. 3. How to DESIGN your image IN THE CAMERA. 4.Take a simple subject...and turn it into a FRAME WORTHY PHOTOS

50 years experience. Photography teacher for several years. Photography teacher for the Vallejo Community Arts Foundation. Former owner of Art Gallery. Clients range from AT&T. Fidelity Savings & Loan. SPRINT. Harper Collins Publishing. Local Chamber of Commerce.

How did you get started teaching?
I voluteered to teach children an a Summer Camp many years ago. The success of the program turned into a teaching position at a local Charter school.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Does the teacher explain to you in a way that you understand, does he/she makes you feel safe to ask questions....are you enjoying the whole experience...IT MUST BE A FUN TIME.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
NO such thing as a silly question. If you NEVER ASK you will never know.
