R-Baseball

Hello everyone, my name is Ricky Cruz, and I’m originally from the Dominican Republic. I have over four years of experience teaching infield fundamentals in baseball. In the past, I played for the Houston Astros organization in the Dominican Republic for a year and eight months in the minor leagues. I also had the privilege of participating in instructional tournaments organized by MLB for two years.

Currently, I’m an infield and hitting instructor at El Camino High School in Oceanside, where I also focus on helping players develop the fundamentals of hitting. I work with more advanced players, starting from the age of 12 and up, and my coaching style is centered on developing each player’s skills with dedication, patience, and a personalized approach.

Although my English may not be perfect, I can communicate effectively to ensure that my students understand and learn. What truly sets me apart as a coach is my passion for the game and my commitment to helping each player grow and reach their full potential. In my free time, I also work as an independent coach, guiding players to improve their performance both on and off the field.
