I teach at Senior Living Retirement Communities , Special Needs / Rehabilitation Communities, Painting & Sip Events, Apartment Communities, Community Club House, Kids Parties & Special Events. I Bring the "Joy of Art" to your Community! No experience needed... I bring out the Artist in you :). I have been teaching Acrylic & Watercolor art for 5 years. Certification in Acrylic & Watercolor medium. Certification in Donna Dewberry's "One Stroke" Painting Technique". Website in progress.
I enjoy bringing the "Joy of Art" to the Artist. I bring them the vehicle and teach them to drive the brush and paint on their art journey ! With all my art projects - no previous experience required:)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I take up to 15 in a class and also do private lessons. I supply all the material. Some classes require to purchase your own set of brushes if you wish to continue. I inquire what the new student wants to paint and go from there or have a planned lessons to learn basics. First we learn the technique and then learn to paint pretty...
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have over 4 years of College Education in Life drawing, colored pencil, graphite, watercolor & acrylic medium . I hold certifications in both Watercolor & Acrylic medium & Donna Dewberry's-One Stroke Painting Technique!

How did you get started teaching?
Had a friend that has been teaching art for about 10 years and was retiring. He contacted me and that is when my art teaching journey began. Then I created my own company.

All ages, General Public, rehabilitation/Skilled Nursing, Senior Retirement (Independent, Assisted, Memory Care). Private Students.
