About
I aim to bring my wealth of photographic experience to offer private, enjoyable and exciting photography lessons to those with all levels of expertise in San Francisco, the East Bay and throughout Silicon Valley. One to one tuition is a great way to accelerate your photographic education and can be tailored by you, for you, dependent on your level of expertise and photographic interest. Whether you are a complete beginner and want to learn the fundamentals of your DSLR, or an industry professional who wants to take your photography onto the next level, I hope that both my passion and wealth of photographic knowledge across a variety of different photographic disciplines means that I can bespoke private tuition to best suit your needs.

I have taught thousands of people how to make better photographs as well as running company photography workshops throughout the US and Europe, teaching teams at companies including HP, Google, Manfrotto and Nielsen amongst others. I am thus experienced in coordinating and designing courses for all levels of photographic expertise and interest.
I have extensive photographic experience, having been the official photographer for The Super Bowl, shot Olympics and World Cups, as well as conducting assignments ranging from creating fine-art commemorative pieces from the roof of Buckingham Palace to free-hanging out of a helicopter over New York City.
I have been fortunate enough to photograph well-known figures including Nelson Mandela, Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, Andy Murray, The Dalai Lama and Sir Mick Jagger on commissioned assignments whilst my client list includes Nike, Visa, Marriott and L’Oreal to name a few. I am a global ambassador for Manfrotto, Gitzo and Black Rapid and my fine art work has been displayed in museums, state senates and forms part of exclusive private collections including the "Sir Elton John Photography Collection".
All of this personal experience is brought into each and everyone of my photography lessons to ensure participants have a unique, fun, memorable and productive experience.
I love teaching people that everyone can take a great photo once they appreciate how to 'see' light properly and understand the fundamentals of digital photography. It's amazing to see that 'wow' moment when people start to really begin to take amazing photographs that they never before thought possible!
