I have over 20 years teaching experience with children (ages Pre-k through 5th grade), teens and adults. I simplify the lessons so that everyone is successful. I teach techniques that will improve the skills of the artist regardless of their experience. My lessons also encourage each person to create.
I love the reward of seeing the joy on my students faces when they create masterpieces and feel great about themselves. It not only builds their self esteem, but it builds mine as well. It is so motivating to me as an artist when I can teach skills that I have learned and apply them to my classes.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with basic skills. My lessons are simplified so that every student is successful. I start with drawing simple lines, color mixing, brush techniques and move to 3-D shapes and details. Each time building upon their own set skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an art teacher/instructor for over 20 years having taught over 5000 students. I have created over 3000+ art projects from drawing, painting, collage, mixed media and more. Most of my students have been ages Pre-k through 5th grade, but I have also taught many teens and adults.

I usually break my pricing down to each student or by purchasing several lessons. I will often give a discount if several are purchased or if they purchase a subscription.
