Hi, I'm a photographer based in Los Angeles. My studio is in Chinatown. I shoot both digital and film formats (35mm, Medium Format, 4x5). I can teach you about film and digital photography, composition, studio strobe and off camera flash lighting, how to shoot manual, film development and scanning, lightroom/photoshop workflow and retouch, and a lot more. I'm laid back, informative, and am the proud owner of my studio dog, Lionel.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We would meet at my studio in Chinatown and jump right in. Every student will have a different understanding and knowledge level of photography, so we'd start with whatever the student wants to achieve whether it be going over the basic functionality of a camera or shooting right away.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a degree in cinematography.

Children, adults, people with absolutely no idea how to use a camera besides their phone, people with some photography knowledge or who just set the camera to auto mode.
