I am a professional musician and music educator for 20+ years and Berklee College of Music alum in Jazz & Emerson College alum in Musical Theater.
Currently I work in various capacities of pianist/arranger/music director with performers from American Idol, Post Modern Jukebox, Wicked & Celtic Woman as well as producers of Broadway musicals such as American Idiot & Book of Mormon, and play keyboards for international world music singer Kouros. I also vocal coach for musicals at Cal State LA.
My experience will not only help you on your instrument but to guide and enrich your life as a musician.
Each lesson is focused on the student's needs to progress musically & to also have fun with what they would like to learn beyond the basics of piano & music theory.
Lessons can be given in your home, mine or via Skype. I am centrally located in the San Fernando Valley.
Please check out my growing my list of reviews here on Thumbtack, Yelp & Lessons.com.
I look forward to helping you reach your next level of music.

Every opportunity I have to work as a musician is a gift. Musicians 'play' music, Actors perform in 'plays'. How can we call it work? A life in the arts, and being able to share that with others is the most rewarding profession anyone could ask for.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first meet with a new student it's important to see where they are at in their musical studies so we can come up with a plan for progressing forward. No two students are on the same level or learn in the same way. I like to discuss goals and styles of music the student has an interest in. Workbooks are a great foundation but it's not going to teach you all the songs and pieces you would like to learn.
