Havier Daivon Entertainment
About
Hello,
I hope this message finds you well. It is a pleasure to be able to introduce myself to you and that you would like to sign your student up for music lessons (piano, voice, songwriting, theory, or history). Please allow me to start off by giving you some background on who I am.
My name is Havier Hill Roller, affectionately known as Havier Daivon in the entertainment industry, and I have been teaching for over 6 years now. I started out in Michigan, took my teaching to Boston, Georgia, and now California. I am originally from Kalamazoo, MI, I began playing the piano at the age of three when my mother gifted me with my first keyboard that I still happen to have till this day. I attended a public school of the arts K-6th where I noticed my passion for and partook in lessons for piano, choir, dance and acting. Also very young around the age of 5 I began singing in church and grew up to join the youth choir in which I also played the drums; I would accompany myself on piano while I lead songs as well as eventually joining the adult mass choir. I then went to private piano lessons at an elite after school program for youth where I was able to elevate my prior basic knowledge of theory and the Piano, on top of pursuing a focus in Classical and Jazz training through the grades 7th-10th. I then went to tour with a major stage play in grade 11 (my second tour, first starting off in the 4th grade) traveling the country portraying a young teenage Motown Icon Marvin Gaye. From there I finished high school in Kalamazoo and continued my passion for music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where my primary instrument was Voice. I still pursued elite music theory, mandatory piano classes as well as teaching Piano, Voice, Drums, and Songwriting at the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester. I graduated from Berklee College of Music May, 2019 with a Bachelors of Music in Songwriting.
I then moved to Atlanta, GA January of 2020 where I taught Piano for 3 years at Dunwoody Christian Academy. DCA was a great learning experience and new beginnings for me as I consistently found ways to be of service and a positive influence to my community. I hope you accept this as a request of me wanting to be of positive influence to your student through music. As of now I teach Monday-Wednesday usually between the hours of 3PM-5PM, which I can compromise if necessary, and I use Thursdays as needed. My goal is to stick to once a week, 30 minute lessons in which I will be charging $200/month ($50/ class) virtually or in person by way in which I can receive CashApp: $Havierdaivon, Venmo: @Havier-Daivon, Zelle: 269-929-5028, PayPal: [email protected], or Check made payable to Havier Hill Roller. I will make sure to provide a weekly practice sheet/ progress report for you, and your student to go over in order for you to know what we've been working on and what your student needs to practice at home throughout the week. I also wanted to let you know I will try to provide treats (candy) when students complete certain assignments and milestones and I hope that this is okay (please let me know if certain candies are not allowed). Lastly if you have not done so, or if your student does not yet have a book that they are working out of I would recommend you to purchase the "Bastien Piano Basics" books ("Piano for the Young Beginner” and pick whichever “Primer _” that corresponds to their age. Along with the corresponding "Theory & Technic for the Young Beginner" book of the same series) which should be no greater than $15 together including tax. Faber books are great as well if you want an alternative or just something to compare.
It is a pleasure once again to converse with you and I wanted to extend the invitation that from this moment forward you can feel free to reach out to me with any questions, comments or concerns. I will do my best to make sure your student will not only learn all that I can teach, and their questions about music are answered, but that your student will have fun while doing it. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you
Humbly,
Havier
