As a Personal Trainer, I am focused in teaching proper posture and exercise corrections, safety and progression are the keywords to achieve your goals without hurting yourself. A proper training program allied with a nutrition plan that suits your needs will maximize the results from the exercise and training sessions. My degree and experience with different types of physical activities grants me extensive knowledge and taught me that proper technique always stands out to build a stronger and healthier body. As a life coach I seek to find and overcome patterns and blocks that stands in between my clients and theirs goals so once those blocks are released, it is easier to keep their motivation, achieving results that once seemed impossible. I help my clients to shift the reason that they seek for a body/lifestyle change should not be because they hate their current shape. It is the beginning of an act of self love and self care. The most realistic way to change your body is starting to change how you feel about it, making achievable goals, be accountable and be patient. It is amazing how people change they way that they feel about their bodies and how fast this feeling can make them achieving a stronger, sexier, more confident and healthier body/mindset.

Based on my personal experience, I consider Gil as a knowledgeable and responsible trainer who exercises highly professional and individual approach with his clients. I like that he is strongly committed to what he is doing. I am also noticing that he constantly improves his expertise. For example, recently we switched from workouts with just weights to more sophisticated training that includes posture correction and a lot of stretching which makes sense to me. I have a 5 year degree in physical education from Brazil where I lived most of my life. It's different from P.E IN USA, it's a course where you study physiology, anatomy, kinesiology, training and a lot of other subjects related to physical activities, fitness and wellness. I also got certified in Canada and U.S for training and weight management. I also have other certifications such as groups classes(yoga, spinning and etc), kettlebell, TRX and also energy healing.
I have been always into exercises since I started doing martial arts. I was an overweight kid who wanted to lose weight and did not know how, as I started to do martial arts during my 15 years, my body started to change. I began to dig more in the martial arts world, learning Karate, Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan which leaded me to a university and a degree in the area of kinesiology, sports science, training, fitness and wellness. My degree gave me a whole new world when I started to work in a Gym, studying and practicing weight training, group classes, pilates and yoga, so as gymnastics and circus activities. I like working with people, helping them to achieve their goals, watch them change their attitude, mind and body in the process and see that they are enjoying what they are doing.
Mostly I have people that wants to lose weight and increase muscle size and after that we see people that wants to get conditioned, feel better, with more energy and also people that wants to get heathier and improve flexibility.. Some of those people comes with injuries or special conditions (knee pain or arthritis, for example) and we are able to work through it and make it better, by correcting posture and imbalances, making them achieve their goalswithout injury.
