Hello! I am a 2nd generation photographer and began my photography adventure by shooting beautiful images in both film & digital, though am partial to digital. During my career, I have had studios in both Washington & Montana. I also enjoy teaching children, youth and adults about photography. I’ve had the honor of teaching photography classes with and for the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), along with being a Certified Professional Photographer. I’ve traveled and photographed many wonderful sites in our country and abroad. I enjoy photographing in many regions and in rough conditions, like cold and remote places What started as a form of self-care, has turned into a deep-rooted passion of mine; to share the natural beauty and richness of our world and its people through Captivating and Inspirational photography.

    Frequently asked questions

    First is a phone discussion about a schedule that fits your needs and a place to meet.  Second, schedule a 2-hour session, topics to include basic instructions to advanced skills, lighting whatever is your needs. I also Provide Materials for all levels so you can study in between sessions. 3) We go out into the surrounding areas and take pictures and take time to process the pictures and discuss the shots, answers new questions.  The number of lessons depends on what the student wants and want what they want to learn. 

    Experience as a Photography Consultant for events and Weddings, Sporting Events. and presentations.  Have had the pleasure of shooting for Festivals and Gallery shows Fashion Models and clothiers. Received my Certification as a Professional Photographer from the Professional Photographers Association of America.  Continuing my photographic skills through ongoing training in lighting, framing, matting, color spectrums, and many other settings.  I also am a Freelance Photojournalist and speaker on Photography to schools, clubs and community activities.
