What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Building an honest and effective relationship requires clear communication. First, I must determine the clients goals for training. After determining the clients needs, I can create a set of athleticly enhancing drills to help in progressing the clients skill set.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Played @ HIU (Gold Glove Winner 1B), Golden West Junior College(1B&P, Team Captain & State Final Appearance) , Houston Baptist University(P), Long Beach State (P).
Coached: Goldenwest junior college, HIU, Orange County Legends Collegiate Summer Team Head Coach.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$40 for 1/2hr
$60 for 1hr
Lessons can be done in hitting, fielding, pitching, strength & conditioning and, we can focus on the mental game. Please, just let me know what you would like to work on!
How did you get started teaching?
I have always loved baseball and being able to help share my knowledge of the game with others is a huge blessing. I just love to help!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students in many different settings. Although, I mostly work with collegiate level players. I am always excited to share my knowledge with players of all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Being the head coach of my summer collegiate team was an incredible experience. I was able to watch these players grow and move on to bigger and better establishments.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always ask questions!!!!! Make sure the information makes sense to you!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Always ask, "how will this benefit me?" In order to gain further understanding of the purpose of the exercise, drill, etc.
