About

Interaction not only between student and teacher but in duets, trios, different instruments working together. All styles of music. Students interacting with students. Performance, competition, and Master Class oportunities. Understanding and application of all aspects of Music.

Music is a wonderful gift. One that will not only bless the student and teacher but those around them. To see a student perfect and enjoy a song no matter what their level, is a joy. To be able to have an outlet for your emotions, perfecting your discipline through music is a wonderful experience that lasts your whole life. There is nothing more satisfying and fulfilling than having music be a part of your life and your families. I look forward to having the pleasure of helping bring music to my students homes.

Frequently asked questions

Voice lessons are recorded to ensure students know and understand and can remember what is learned.  Music Theory is incorporated in the lessons.  There are Recitals and competitions.  Learning to read music and rhythm is stressed.

I have a double degree in Voice and Piano.  Degree is a Masters.  I have played violin in the Rio Hondo youth and adult Symphony for 9 years.  Studies have been in Europe and the U.S.  Solo concert tours have been in Europe, Japan, New Zealand and the United States.

half hour is $40.  45 min. lessons are $60 and hour lessons are $80.  I purchase the music for the students and they are responsible for reimbursing the costs of the music.

I come from a musical family that traveled around and sang.  Formal lessons started at age 4.  My family are music professors and performers so it was a natural segue for me.

My students include beginners to adults, collegiate, and professional.

I enjoy ajudicating and giving Master classes and encouraging my students to attend and participate in them whenever possible

Do they incorporate music theory.  Do they have recitals and or showcases or competitions. Do they teach you how to read music and count.  What styles of music do they cover.

What is required of them to be able to achieve their goals.
