Hello! I would like to help children continue in education during these hard times of COVID19 by assisting their education growth and reduce the stress they may receive during these times.
My career path is towards education, more specifically children's education. This would be a great to help me gain more of the skills on teaching and assisting.
I have been an after school child care teacher in the past, I have worked with children of grades 1st-6th on all subjects of their homework. I really enjoy working with kids in their education and would like to continue to also give some relief to the parents!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Opening up is important so I don't seem like some kind of stranger. I like to get introductions in, make sure the student is comfortable before the start of the education. Once introducitons are out of the way we can start on the tutoring.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After school child care is my previous job that I had for about a year and a half. I worked with children from the grades of and between 1st and 6th grade.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is very important to find a teacher you can connect with so it doesn't feel awkward to talk to. Always work with a teacher you can understand and work with the best of your ability at a comfortable speed.
