Andy has been fantastic to work with. He has been working with my teenage daughter on her photography and he is patient, engaging, and has made her feel comfortable and confident in her abilities. I would recommend him for anyone looking to learn more about photography.

He definitely deserves a 5, and if I could give him a 6, I would! Andy is a great teacher, building confidence along with teaching the technical and creative side of photography. Hes helped me get the right equipment, reviewed the basics and expanded on what I already knew (which wasnt too much considering Im a beginner). He also is a wizard at Lightroom and Photoshop and has incorporated photo editing into our lessons. On top of all that, hes kind and considerate and a fantastic photographer, inspiring me to one day approach being as talented as he is. I would recommend him to anyone who has an interest in photography to hire Andy as an instructor from beginner to advanced, child to adult.

Andy helped understand the equipment that I would need to investigate buying for my camera.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, need to know what type of equipment so I can become familiar with how it operates. Second, need to see what level student is at now and inquire where they would like to be. Third, be patient and let them no there is no such thing as a stupid question - it might be the most important thing they want to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught other clients the basics of photography. I have excellent knowledge of Off Camera Flash, which seems to be one of the things new students want to learn.
