About
Finding a good CPR training that fits your schedule can be a challenge. We like to make sure we can fit your schedule by having multiple ways to teach the class.
We can teach by the traditional class with instructor led which is usually done 4-6 hours all in one session.
We can provid a Blended course where you do the first part online and then the hands on portion will be with an instructor at one of our 6 Columbus offices located for your convenience.
The last option is like the blended but called remote skills verification. We send the video portion to your email and then ship the equipment to your door. When ready to do the hands on training you will meet the instructor via zoom to complete your skills with our equipment. Shipping is included with price.
We provide excelent customer service and you will talk with a live person who is knowledgable on what you need.
Our services are excelent in helping you to be not just certified but to feel confident that you can actually save a life. We want our students to be placed in a relaxed setting but experience the distractions they could encounter in the real world. We like our students to be able to focus on what they need to do in knowing how to save the person they love.

How did you get started teaching?
I first became a CPR and ACLS instructor in 2000 as a Corpsman in the US Navy. In 2004 I was discharged from the Navy, and I started to teach Basic Life Support and ACLS for University of California San Diego, then worked nine years as a Training Center Faculty for Sharp Hospital and later became an Augmented Instructor For Kaiser Hospital. In 2012 was when I decided to start The Beating Heart Center.
What types of students have you worked with?
In San Diego, we have worked with teachers, personal trainers, Healthcare Professionals, Constructions workers, and US Military.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I know that the training I provide is effective and my students tend to retain the information we teach them. I have a lady who took a class from us three years ago. When her husband had a full Heart Attack, she was surprised she knew what to do and saved his life.
