How did you get started teaching?
Growing up as a dancer, I always have been a mover. I moved down to Denver, CO. in 2003 after graduating highschool in Steamboat Springs. There I met my mentor, and teacher who became my best friend. There she led me to yoga instruction and fitness in general. There I discovered a love for yoga, wellness, and healing our bodies and mind through the power of practice. Yoga has saved my life many times, and will continue to be part of my every day life for the rest of my life.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of every level. From beginner to advanced, I have worked with injured bodies, amputees, recovering addicts, professional athelets, seniors, and children.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I believe that a thorough teacher is one who can explain their craft at the most basic of levels. I am here to curate your expereince for you and only you. I am not here to force you into anything you don't want to do, or are not sure of. We work together to make sure you are getting everything you need out of your practice.
