About
As a mobile art company, we can deliver fun to your door, or anywhere else you want to go! Caricatures, paintings, henna tattoos, origami and watercolors being the biggest categories I help others learn!
My name is Nadine, I'm the curator of Rains Art Online and the crafts that are affiliated! From a young age I've used art as my way to push myself past the pain of medical ailments that prevented me from living life like a normal girl! The enjoyment it gives me to put a brush into canvas and ink to paper is more rewarding than the finished product! It's my goal to continue to help others get that same enjoyment and fulfillment out of Art!

I LOVE being able to give someone a working outlet for the rest of their lives! From folding paper to making bracelets, painting their favourite cactus in 28 new styles, I enjoy being able to help my students thrive!
Having spinal disabilities, it's been hard keeping up on my own work, but through the bad comes the good, now I give others the skills I've learned!!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we will start with an initial session, an hour of practice on the subject of choice. I want to see where you are on that subject! For caricatures and portraits, it usually starts with a simple sketch of me to see where you need to focus on! For painting, we will start with a small sample and have you paint using a variety of techniques. We will work on a plan to meet the goal you have set, and will continue to reflect on those goals every so often during your lessons.
once we have your goal set, we will go through supplies, and other odds and ends giving you the working knowledge you'll need to continue to improve your skills! Each lesson I have between 1 and 8 hour lessons depending on how long you want to work and how long in between lessons you are intending.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Kamans Art Shoppes - former caricature trainer, face and henna painter, portrait artist, hair wrapper, and kids crafts trainer.
certifications for interactive media.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
lessons pricing depend on student, skill set and lessons scheduled.
How did you get started teaching?
One of my caricature students quit working for me and asked me to show her what she needed to do Silhouettes. From there, I've been using word of mouth to help anyone achieve their art dreams!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Painting a Klingon. Best way to show someone how to paint! A dear friend wanted me to paint her a Klingon, upon hearing my prices wanted to know how she could cheapen the price. I told her she could always learn to do it on her own. And thus started me teaching her how to use acrylic paints on one of her own projects! Now she details metal so well!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Remember, your style is your own. An artist is going to teach you their style and their working processes. Find what works for you and ditch the rest. If it doesn't work for you, find what does! There's no such thing as mistakes, only experiments!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Can you watch a video that will teach you the same thing for less cost?
are you intending to use this for professional purposes? If so, what's your intention hiring a professional to teach you?
What have you done yourself to push you towards your goal without the help of a teacher/ coach?
if you've exhausted all other options than being taught one on one, Do you believe that this training will help? Do you think that hands on learning will change the outcome?
do you believe that these lessons will only be successful if you can achieve your goal and nothing less?
