Nicholas Ringling Photography
About
Photography and Digital Art have been a passion of mine since I was introduced to them when I was about 10 years old. The first time I picked up a disposable camera and took a photo, developed it in the dark room, and saw the results I couldn't help but become enthralled with capturing moments in time.
Each photographer has their own expression and way of portraying the world around them, the more photographers exist in the world the more of history we have saved and captured to leave behind for our loved ones and descendants. Motivation to keep the world as it is.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Well, I think the first and foremost purpose of educating someone in Photography or Graphic Design is knowing where they are at and where they intend to go. With these two points, we can plot a course to get them there. Real progress is slow and takes time, understanding the fundamentals and building on what you know so that you can be prepared for any situation or job that comes your way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've led photography groups through the Rockies in educating landscape photography and milky way shooting for several years. Nothing was formal, was simply a group organized with locals so that they could discover the fun of photography in the mountains in pursuit of their own dreams.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
No standard pricing, it's entirely dependant on what is needed and how long the lessons last.
How did you get started teaching?
It was purely by accident. A few hikers went out with me during a photo session and started asking me how I did what I did, which led me to think about how I could possibly do this for more individuals and it only grew from there.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly college-level kids experiencing their first DSLR camera or older gentleman just getting into it for their vacation. However, I believe I have adequate experience teaching from all age groups.
