Hi! My name's Emelie Hartrampf. I teach trumpet, composition, jazz theory and classical music theory lessons. I specialize in jazz and improvisation and am incredibly well-versed in classical, blues, pop, rock, and latin styles as well. I teach students of all backgrounds, experience, knowledge, and levels of ability. I have been teaching in and around the Boulder, Longmont, and Denver metro areas for the past 7 years and have 15 years of experience playing the trumpet. I have a Bachelor of Music degree from CU Boulder and have studied under Brad Goode, Greg Gisbert, Terry Sawchuk, and Cami Kidwell-Dodge. My lessons always cater to my students in a personalized and carefully curated plan to achieve their specific goals. My goal as a teacher is to make music as fun as possible while still teaching you everything you need to know. I want my students to love music as much as I do.
