Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We do small group basketball skills training that teaches the most important skill in basketball: decision making. We make every second of our workout count, leading to super-charged improvement.
You bring your group of 6-10 players. We workout for one hour. Each workout is filmed and a film feedback video is sent to each player after the workout for continued improvement off the court.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have coaching experience at every level of basketball
-NBA: Worked with Integrity Hoops training notable players like Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Harrison Barnes, Kyrie Irving, Blake Griffin, George Niang, Javelle Mcgee and many more. Also worked in NBA Bubble in Orlando, Florida in August 2020.
-NCAA Division 1: Worked two years with the University of Texas basketball teams (men's and women's)
-High School: Five years coaching with Holy Family High School in Broomfield.
-Prep School
-Middle School & Grade School
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is $50 per player, per workout. This price includes a 60 minute on-court workout AND a film feedback video with coach commentary.
How did you get started teaching?
I got my start coaching basketball in 2012 working with high school feeder teams in the Broomfield, Denver area. Since then I have coached high school basketball for five years as a JV coach, C team coach and varsity assistant; I have coach with club teams throughout the North Denver Metro area; I have worked camps and clinic throughout the country working with players of all levels and abilities; I have spent two years coaching high major Division 1 basketball working with various NBA and WNBA draft picks including 8th pick Jaxson Hayes (NBA) and 1st pick Charli Collier (WNBA); finally, I have worked on court with NBA players including Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook, Blake Griffin, Harrison Barnes and more.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with players of all skill levels and abilities, from grade school players just starting out to NBA MVPs.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher who focuses all their energy on your improvement. Dribbling through cones is fine, but have you ever dribbled through a cone in a basketball game? You must answer the question: is what I am doing in training actually making me a better basketball player?
