Lone Tree Basketball Lessons
About
My service stands out from others because I was a collegiate and professional basketball player. Through my experience as an athlete, I learned that playing basketball is more than just playing a sport. Basketball teaches discipline and life lessons that are applicable throughout life.
The most rewarding part about teaching basketball is seeing kids get excited about learning a new skill.
Growing up, I loved playing basketball and I was very fortunate to be surrounded by teammates and coaches who loved the game too. Now that I am done playing, I want to be a lighthouse for kids who need it just like I did.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before working with a new student, I want to find out what their overall objective is. What their strengths and weaknesses are. What position they plan on playing and how many days a week they plan on training so I can create a plan for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a 4 year division 1 athlete. I spent 3 years at Robert Morris University and 1 year at Texas Southern. In those 4 years of playing we went to the NIT twice and NCAA twice.
After playing collegiate basketball, I went to China to play professionally for a month before signing a 1 year deal to a team on the west of France.

How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching kids how to play basketball since I was in college in 2012. Every year my school would host 3 camps where we would teach kids different drills and let them compete against each other.
