About
I have been painting for the last 15 years. I picked up painting originally in expression and enjoyment. I enjoy teaching those eager to learn. I've mainly taught children and teens outof enjoyment. My experience comes from the love of painting the world. My work can be seen on artwork.argier.com.
I enjoy the process of the step- by- step strokes that it takes to create a masterpiece. I believe that there is no such thing as a mistake in painting. Regardless, it can be transformed into the heart's desire. I love that painting can be used in a myriad of ways. It's an outlet of the inner visualizations, expression, and a necessary coping skill.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When introducing a new painter to a painting, we first choose what type of painting they desire to paint. Paint brushes are then introduced by size and by type of stroke they leave. Of course, we will have water and a towel for paint color wash and transition. The painting then begins with the background, such as a sky. The painting is taught by layers. For instance, next would be a mountain range in a scene; followed by the land in front of the range and finished with detail. The painting is then sealed with a high or medium gloss.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15 years experience in freestyle acrylic, water, oil and fabric painting. I have taught a teenager in acrylic from beginner on, as well as my own children and family. I am just now branching out to share my love for painting and teaching.
