I’m Ryan Jalbert, guitarist with The Motet, with over 20 years of touring and recording experience and 25 years of teaching. I help students reach their personal goals by building a deeper understanding of music as a whole.

My focus is on developing well rounded and adaptable players through theory, ear training, and real world musical context, opening up the fretboard and getting into feel and phrasing. Lessons are shaped by years of gigging, touring, and session work and are always grounded in the music you love and want to play.

The listed rate of $60 per hour reflects lesson packages at my home studio. Single lessons and in home lessons are available at a higher rate.
