About

I stand out by helping you grow from whatever stage you're at. I'm here to help you get through whatever kinds of creative blocks you may have. Once those are out of the way you can do anything. We'll get rid of the blocks by doing seemingly simple exercises and projects that will bring some clarity and perspective to areas where you struggle letting the creative energy just flow out of you.

As a fine artist who's shown in gallery space and different exhibitions, I love the conversation of art. The sharing of different perspectives and finding all the different things that come up for us. My goal here as a teacher is to help get the artist part of your brain talking!

    Frequently asked questions

The ideal scenario would be having at least 2 hours with you per session. We'll start off with simple foundational lessons and exercises that get the art juices flowin. Then we'll move onto slightly bigger projects, and I try to be as open to the process as possible as everyone is different with different needs. I do my best to tailor the experience to the flow of the moment, kind of like how I would with a painting.

I've been in art classes since early grade school, president of different art clubs, I've been a student at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design working towards a bachelor's in Fine Art, and I've have work shown in a couple different spaces and shows.

Starting lessons are at $100 a lesson for 2 hours, This will cover material, the lesson, and time. If we decide to progress further, the price will only go up for materials so we can work on bigger projects with more materials.

My advice would be to look for someone who is passionate about teaching art. Someone who believes in what art can do for the soul, the community, and the world. Someone with this kind of mindset is going to give you all the tools you need to be successful in art, even if it's just a hobby for you.

I think if you have a need to express, just express it! A good teacher should be able to hear you, even if what you really need isn't being expressed.
