Life Reflected Photography

Life Reflected Photography believes that education is only part of the recipe to becoming a great photographer. Just as important as in class learning is practicing what you have learned and then having your work reviewed to fine tune your new skills.

Because of this belief all of our classes have a three part structure - in class instruction, photography assignments and constructive professional critique.

Each week you will learn a new skill, the reason why it is important, and how to implement that new skill. At the end of the days class time together you will be given an assignment. The assignment utilizes that new skill and is to be completed before we meet again the next week. When we meet again we will review everyone's work together so that we can learn from everyone's successes and mistakes together. This critique is instructor lead and it is first and foremost constructive.

All classes meet once a week to give students plenty of time to complete the assignments.

I enjoy teaching. It is in my nature to try to help people improve. I love seeing students have that moment of discovery, and watching the growth in a students work over time.

The interaction of a class is important to me. While online videos have there place in learning a new skill they lack the personal connection that make classes fun and engaging. I enjoy bringing a sense of humor and an element of fun to my classes, building a community of friendship and a love of photography. I hope that each class continues to connect over social media and photography long after our classes are over.
