-WHY I DO WHAT I DO-

Want to know the real reason I specialize in photographing Senior girls? I photograph Senior girls because I am all about empowering young women to feel confident, to see themselves as beautiful, and to achieve their dreams. If I had someone in High School telling me, "Yes you can run your own successful photography business". I probably would have started my business sooner! I believe you are uniquely beautiful and no one should tell you otherwise. If I can make a positive impression on just one young woman, then I've done my job.

I believe my work allows my clients to feel insanely confident and beautiful, not just in front of my camera, but going forward in life by creating an incredibly positive and self-affirming experience for young women. I will make you feel gorgeous and confident and I will put your self-consciousness at ease. You will look at your photos and see yourself as others see you - beautiful, unique, fun, and strong. Through my photography, I want to create confident, self-loving women who will go on to change the world.

-SELF TAUGHT-

I got my start in macro photography, photographing things like flowers and water droplets up close. Then, for some crazy reason, I decided to apply for a wedding photography internship (with absolutely NO experience whatsoever!) in Estes Park. To my great surprise, they took a chance on me and hired me as their intern wedding photographer! I gotta be honest, I was so scared my first day - I had no clue how to work my camera. The company told me they would teach me how to be a photographer, but when I asked what settings they used on their camera, they told me they shoot in (dun, dun, dun...) AUTO MODE! I was flabbergasted! So I made it my mission to teach myself how to use my camera to it's fullest potential. After about a month, I was using full manual mode, had multiple lenses, flashes, etc. And from there, photographing people grew into a passion and I started Sarah Lindsay Photography! Now I use my mad skills to capture Denver Outdoor natural light portraits of amazing women.
