Noah King

Basketball has been my passion since I can remember. I grew up with 2 older brothers so the mindset to compete started at a very young age. I was fortunate to play on varsity as a sophomore in high school. I then played at a community college for my first 2 years. My freshman year in college, we won Nationals and as a sophomore we came in 3rd place. I then transferred to Regis University in Denver, Colorado where I helped turn the program around by taking them to a 20 game win season. Another achievement while playing at Regis was tying the schools record for assists in a game which is 13.

I’m a responsible coach who is proficient in leading and teaching for all skill levels. Passionate and motivated, with a drive to win. Over 10 years worth of experience coaching and 8 years worth of skills training/player development. In the 10 years of coaching, I have coached in college for 5 years. I bring strong leadership skills with proven ability to collaborate with different individuals. Being personable with athletes is something I take pride in. As a coach, it is imperative to understand what each player needs so they can be successful.

When it comes to player development, I make sure each player has a good understanding of fundamentals of the game first. To be successful in basketball, you must learn to play the game the right way. The higher the level of competition you play, the more of a system that you have to abide by. The ones that don’t follow the coaches system will not find success. That is a big reason why you see NBA players getting cut from teams, or college players transferring to another institution. Either the player doesn’t fit the system or the system doesn’t fit the player. Majority won’t take into consideration, but that’s a major factor in today’s game.
