What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically students will start with an introductory lesson to make sure we have a good connection. It's so important to me that my prospective students feel comforatable and confidant that I can explain new ideas and concepts in a way they can understand. From there, we decide if a lesson package or a pay per lesson arrangement is the way to proceed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have undergraduate education in music education and voice performance. After gaining experience in music and choral classrooms with elementary through high school students, music directing high school students, performing on tour and regionally in music theatre productions, appearing on stage in opera, concert, classical recital and jazz performance, I returned to school to earn my Master's degree. Drawing on this broad performance experience, I can help guide and encourage my piano and voice students.
