Eric Maxwell, Baseball Lessons
About
Growing up I played all sports, football, basketball and baseball. Baseball was always number one and I spent most of my time practicing baseball over others. I played at a high level in high school and ended up playing Juco and at the DII level before an injured shoulder made it hard for me to continue playing at that level.
From there, I knew I wanted to study the human body and make sure athletes don’t have to endure the same pain I went through that makes them have to give up their sport.
While in college I earned my NASM Personal Training and Corrective Exercise Certifications and worked as a Personal Trainer during my undergrad, working with college students, faculty, and staff.
After earning my bachelors degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration of Health Promotion from Colorado State University, I went on to work for the Tampa Bay Rays in a Sports Science role learning how to keep athletes healthy on the field and finding ways to improve their performance.
I am currently a varsity assistant coach at Arapahoe high school.
