About
Lion Drive and my self Jaron Dorchinez aka Dorch, are here to help you become a better baseball player and all around athlete. I have played semi pro baseball for 5 years traveling around the world. Was brought up by a pro pitcher through high school, however, I played short stop and closed as a pitcher. In college I was a short stop/3rd baseman. As a pro I started at short and then played a closing role pitching. By my fourth year over seas I was a full two way player playing short and starting pitcher. Awesome experience getting to traveling the world while playing baseball. Giving back and learning while doing so, has me hungry to share the knowledge I've gained. I am more excited to be able to do so, in the comunnities that I grew up from. As a Local from cherry chreek it is great to be able to give back. Coaching is my passion and I cant wait too share it with you!
Honestly baseball to me is the best representation of life within a sport. You learn how to fail and that there is success within that failure. Also if you get 3/10 on a test you fail. 3/10 in baseball and your a great player. Life and baseball are one and the same. I love teaching baseball because it's molded me into the person I am today. Can't wait to help out our youth in the same way.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Lessons for new clients usually start with a introduction and i try and find some commond ground to talk about random things. From there I ask what there goals are and when they would like to accomplish those goals. Then we start hitting off the tee. After some anylisis we start attacking some of the areas we can improve. If more lessons come then we proggress acordingly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
4 year college athlete graduated 2015 from Adam's state university. Went on to play professional baseball over seas. Have been lucky enough to work and play with some great baseball player and coaches. Learned a ton about the game and continue to do so. Baseball is my passion.
How did you get started teaching?
When I was 15 I gave my first lesson as a part of this summer program.I played for a competitive baseball travel team and coached youth for a discount. It was a great way to make it cheaper for parents and teach us to give back and instruct.
