About
We have an In-Store Recording Studio and Jam Room, all of our students get FREE time to use them both every month.
Brefore the Pandemic, We had regular In-Store concerts and 2-3 big concerts at external venues. We will be starting this backup when things get back to normal. In the Menatime, we are holding virtual concerts.
We have several music teachers who make learning an instrument both fun & challenging. Please ask your friends in your area...They'll know me by name & great reputation.
We can't wait to hear from you and would love to give you a tour of the studio and answer any questions you may have.
I love music. I was born into a music family, and have always loved sharing the groove with other people.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We use a questionaire to ask a new student a few questions about the songs and techniques they enjoy. We want to use the music you love as examples of the skills you are learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every musician at MMS has extensive education and performance experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$140 = 1/2 hour lessons - 4 weekly lessons per month with 1 FREE 1/2 hour session of studio time.
$204 = 45 min lessons - 4 weekly lessons per month with 1 FREE 45 session of studio time.
$236 = 1 hour lessons - 4 weekly lessons per month with 1 FREE hour session of studio time.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages! We can teach anyone, doesn't matter the skill level! we have taught ages 3-82.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Consider your options, but remember that Modern Music Studio is affordable and flexible! not only are we cheaper than other music studios, we give free time every month for recording, pay our teachers better, and we allow for cancellations and reschedules outside of 24 hours!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think of what you want to learn and your goals you want to accomplish on your instrument. If you're interested in learning a song that is too hard for you, get the basics down first and come back to it! You can even play a simpler version of those songs, so if you have questions it never hurts to ask them.
