At BHK Photo, we pride ourselves on our commitment to our clients and their images because the best client is a return client. We are a two person studio where one person (Brandon Kile) covers commercial work like that of food, product, and real estate and the other (Ashlyn Kile) focuses on consumer portraiture like that of family, senior, and weddings. Though, there are times when our work crosses over into the other's realm and we do it happily.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Like any production, it's got three steps: preproduction, production, post production.
In the preproduction I like to get to know the people I'm teaching - their skillset, their passions, their goals, and their aspirations. By doing this I am more better equips to help them learn in a customized manner.
In the production, I sit down with them and give them simple tasks to get them practicing the steps and learning the tools. Once they feel comfortable enough in the classroom, I take them out on location to do the same tasks but on a bigger scale. I then repeat this process until they feel comfortable with their gear and tools to go out on their own and succeed with their goals.
Post production includes keeping in touch with my students and checking in on how they are doing with their progress, answering any questions they have, and guiding them towards success.
