Improve your mental health. Up your skills. Play for enjoyment. Be more connected by learning music history. Increase your income.
Start as a beginner. Improve your music theory. Become a more advanced musician. Learn to be a music teacher. Learn to be a piano accompanist. Learn to be an excellent sight-reader.
I have 26 years of piano-related performance and teaching experience, and 19 years of teaching and performing solo and ensemble flute.
I love the supporting role, helping musicians sound their best and get all the credit they deserve.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach beginner through advanced, any age. I don't use the Suzuki method. You provide books; I use books you have, or suggest which books I'd like you to use. I like to get students involved in performance, but I don't join clubs, etc. That's up to the student.
