We have a non-profit organization that provides band and orchestral training to homeschool students in Colorado. Kari has worked very well with our flute students. She is knowledgeable, but also kind and relatable. Kari gives the students practical guidance to help them develop foundational principles as beginner flute players. For our advanced students, Kari encourages growth by challenging them with her tried and true tools and etude selections. She was specific in her direction, suggestions , and practice points. Weve been very happy with the passion Kari expressed for music, in general, as well has her pleasant disposition.

Our 6 year old daughter has not only learned a lot from Katherine, but she has had fun doing it. Katherine has a bubbly personality that makes learning the piano fun for kids. The progress our daughter has made in a just a few months has been remarkable.

Katherine is the BEST. She knows her stuff, and my daughter adores her! Shes understanding, kind, enthusiastic, intelligent, engaging--all the attributes that make a great educator. And when she demonstrates a song, we all smile. Shes a talented musician and plays beautifully.
