Kent Tompkins Photography
About
Welcome to my visual journey...one that I trust will unify and remind you of the beauty and connection we all share with one another and the natural world. My work is candid, typically with a documentary and spiritual feel, while indigenous to observations and deep immersive experiences that we commonly share. Creative solutions, collaborations and possibilities await.
My teaching background includes Colorado Mountain Colkege Professor, SummerVail Art Institute Instructor, Community Colleges, and putting cameras in numerous kids’ hands in a variety of schools, wilderness programs, indigenous lands, and gifted programs nationally.
Technically my work stems from an extensive film and silver print-making background. Video and sound production is a recent addition. I edit with Final Cut Pro. My goal is to create authenticity that nourishes, and commercially represents your intentions. Let's talk and conceptualize how I might assist you. - Kent Tompkins.
I'm a visual learner, with seasoned professional experience. I love teaching, and passionate about assisting students to make images that typlify how they experience the world.
