Been coaching and training for 8 years. Currently the head coach of 2 teams in Fort Collins, CO. Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. NBA G-League experience, and played All-Air Force. Coached and trained over 300 kids. My passion for the game comes from the ability to give back to kids/adults.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meet n greet (parents included)
Go through warm ups
Undergo evaluation period using basic basketball drills and then increase intensity of training as needed

How did you get started teaching?
Though AAU basketball I had players parents approach me wanting more 1-on-1 training from me with their son/daughter. The rest is history

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Held a skills camp to improve the basketball skills of players. There were a handful who didn’t have a lot of experience with basketball. By the end of the camp they were able to properly perform a layup and were so excited to show their parents. Definitely was a good feeling knowing I taught them something that will stick with them forever and they can teach someone else.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You’re gonna be nervous but everyone is nervous. Practice makes perfect. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Have fun first and always. Always have a good attitude and give max effort.
