I love interacting with new students, helping them to understand the fundamentals and watching them grow! Anyone can teach the technical aspects of art, what we as artists need to learn is "how to see" and then translate what we see to a 2 dimensional surface.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we assess where the student is at and where they want to go with their art. Then we dive in with the fundamentals of their desired path, doing work, reviewing work, and giving examples to show them process, technique, and finesse.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had the benefit of many fine mentors in my career including William Whitaker.
