Current sophomore coach at Highlands Ranch. Coached 12 u baseball in NC. Former Coach at Gateway HS. Former 6-8 Coach of Kinser Skylanders.
Played Baseball at Gateway HS 1999-2003.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Instead of drills, drills, drills...I decided to hold self scrimmages with my team at Gateway. I've never seen a group of kids respond to playing the game quicker with more attention by just allowing them to have fun. It was great.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Treat every single thing like you could always make it better.
If it hinders something you are already good with... Don't do it. Work on being coachable and becoming a great listener.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do research.
