Focus on eliminating inefficiencies by identifying movement patterns. Mike will set up a protocol designed around your individual needs and guide you toward a style and approach that best fits your personality and movement patterns.
My passion lies in working and connecting with hitters - walking side by side with them in elite movement execution, high level game planning, emotional stability, and control at the plate. I have over 18 years' experience in learning and perfecting a comprehensive approach to hitting and offensive run production.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Focus on eliminating inefficiencies by identifying movement patterns. Mike will set up a protocol designed around your individual needs and guide you toward a style and approach that best fits your personality and movement patterns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mike has had the privilege of working with hitters at every level over the last 25 years, from the 8 year old to the Major League All Star. He is able to transfer his expert knowledge of the baseball swing into the mind and muscle memory of the baseball player, in a very unique and powerful way, leading to success at the plate.
He is currently working full time for Major League Baseball as a hitting coach. During the "off-season" and this crazy COVID era, he is also offering private baseball lessons on a limited basis. He also has a few spots left to work with high school teams.
Mike has also maintained close relationships with college baseball coaches, and has helped to facilitate numerous Division I power house commits among his lessons clientele, to schools in the SEC, Big 12, ACC, Pac 10 and more.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My price is $150 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a Division I college baseball coach for 12 years, then moved into the Pro Hitting Development side in 2007. I also ran a successfull Baseball Academy in Colorado for 8 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
Everyone from the 8-year old beginner to the Major League All Star. Most of my local Colorado students are age 12-20.
