Simpson Music

Kathryn Dupuy Simpson and Steve Simpson are offering lessons in the safest ways possible: in a dedicated part of our home using a plastic barrier, wearing masks when not playing our wind instruments, sanitizing, spacing out lesson times, and giving online lessons only or a combination - whatever is most comfortable for our students and families. We have been professional performers and teachers since earning our bachelor's and master's degrees in music performance from The Juilliard School, Northwestern University and University of Southern California in the 1980's. We are both members of the Colorado Ballet Orchestra and have performed in the Colorado Symphony, numerous Broadway touring company productions, the Denver Center Theatre Co. and in other professional ensembles. Ms. Simpson is on the faculty of Metropolitan State University of Denver and Mr. Simpson is on the faculty of Colorado Christian University. We both have extensive experience teaching young beginners, and Mr Simpson is the band director for several elementary schools. We both play along with our students, and Ms. Simpson accompanies on piano when appropriate.
