The Academy Of Basketball

Hello everyone! My name is Carlos Romero and I’m a U.S.A. basketball Gold certified coach. I’m incredibly passionate about basketball. I have dedicated all of my life to basketball from coaching to playing basketball. I have coached kids ranging from elementary to high school . One of the highlights in my coaching journey is being a part of the Denver Nuggets Youth Academy. The experience and knowledge I gained during my time with the Nuggets have shaped me into a skilled and dedicated basketball coach. I’m currently a head JV coach at local High-school as well as Assistant Varsity coach.

I firmly believe that basketball goes beyond just a game—it teaches kids discipline, teamwork, and important life skills. My goal as a coach is to instill these values in my players while helping them develop their basketball skills to their fullest potential.

Throughout my coaching career, I have successfully mentored and motivated numerous young athletes, giving them the tools they need to succeed on and off the court. I am confident that my expertise, coupled with my genuine love for the game, will enable me to provide an excellent coaching experience to all my players.
