What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Establish trust and rapport with parents and player. Evaluate level, goals and objectives. Weekly email and text communication regarding schedule and verification of clinic attendance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
HS (Nazareth Regional) and college (Siena) player. Have worked with professionals and beginners. Played with/against, coached and reffed on highest levels. Certified: Jr. NBA, USA Basketball and Positive Coaching Alliance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Small group 90 minute: $40 per.
Individual $125 per 90 minute session.
How did you get started teaching?
Graduated college and was mentored by HS coach Pete Gillen. Became NCAA official 20 years. Started Dribble Drive Basketball, LLC as teaching vehicle.

Pro, HS and college. References available on each level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
All Quinnipiac and Cheshire Academy mens basketball games. My sons Rich and John play respectively.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be patient. Transformation/growth is incremental. Work on individual skills and put to test in game. Measure progress. Don't give up.
When the student is ready the teacher will arrive.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask about, set and establish realistic goals and communication, seek agreement on measuring progress.
