Tyla Axelrod

Welcome! I teach private cello lessons to students of all ages, guiding them on their individual journeys of beginning, resuming, or advancing their musical studies. I work with each student one-on-one, generally every week, teaching foundational skills such as scales and arpeggios, intonation, sound production, and bow technique, as well as fostering their understanding of musicianship, interpretation, and expression through music. I also have experience with coaching chamber music ensembles, working closely with each group to improve their collaborative and individual abilities, and preparing them for performances.
