    My daughter has been taking art classes with Kasey for about 2 months and she has learned so much in a very short time. She is enjoying every moment during the class with Kasey and is improving her skills at a very fast pace. Kasey is very nice and kind and his teaching approach is wonderful. He explains the methods and allows her try on her own and then they discuss together how to improve. He is always very responsive if she has questions during the week if we have questions about new art supplies. We commute to Kasey’s studio for about 45min every weekend and me and my daughter feel what she’s learning is worth the ride. Highly recommended!!!

    I am an older person, so I was worried about trying to learn how to oil paint for the first time. Kasey is a very patient and professional teacher. Over the course of the past year, I have made more progress than I would have thought possible, all of which would not have happened without the help of Kasey.     Getting to know a new student's learning needs is important to me.

    It is then my goal to bring out every student's inner artist and give them the proper tools to develop.

    I was trained in classical figurative oil painting and abstract expressionism methods.

    I am able to combine both these widely different backgrounds to suit my personal style.

    I have a sliding scale payment system based on the chosen medium and malleable to student’s financial circumstances!

    I began working as a studio assistant to a NYC abstract artist for 3 years starting at the age of 20.

    Following my art education I have taught art in the dept of education, various private school art programs throughout the boroughs and Westchester, and in my private art studio.

    I have worked with an extremely wide range of students from children to adults in school settings and privately. I worked with developmentally impaired students in the DoE, was the supervisor for Quad Manhattan school for twice exceptional students, and have taught art to students of all ages throughout the boroughs.
