Describe a recent event you are fond of.
In the spring in 2020, my team and I were on spring break playing in a tournament in Tucson, AZ. This tournament is an invitational for the best D3 teams in the country and this was my second time attending. On the second day of the tournament, we (CNU) were ranked #3 in the country and were slated to play the #1 team in the country and defending national champions, Texas Lutheran University. They were known for their power hitters and scoring a lot of runs each game, so I was excited and ready when I found out I would be taking the mound. Ultimately, we won the game in 5 innings, run ruling them with an 8 run lead after the 5th inning. I pitched all 5 innings and held the most notorious hitting team to no hits. It was the best game I think I had ever played. And because of covid, it would be my last. 5 days later my senior season was cancelled and I would never play softball again. I was upset, but thinking of the high I ended on in no-hitting the best hitting team in the country, I wouldn't have wanted my career to end any other way.
